The amazing fruits available in Jusuru Life Blend have vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, phytonutrients, antioxidants, and resveratrol.  Super fruits in Jusuru Life Blend include:

Apple
Apples are naturally fat-free, cholesterol-free and sodium-free.  Packed with vitamins, anti-oxidants, and nutrients, Apples enhance your immune system and help ward off diseases. They are an excellent source of B-complex vitamins for mental and cardiovascular functioning. High fiber Apples offer better energy production,  enhance your immunities, aid in reducing cholesterol, work as an anti-inflammatory, and offer protection from free radicals.  Apples are considered useful for gall bladder and kidney stone problems, while the pectin helps to control blood sugar levels.

Grape
Found in Grapes, Resveratrol has great potential in anti-aging, anti-cancer and anti-oxidant activity. These actions may help prevent free radical damage throughout the body and provide protective support to the cardiovascular system. Research results from Zhejiang University in China suggest that Resveratrol inhibits blood pressure, heart rate, and renal sympathetic nerve activity.  Grapes constitute one of the main detoxifying foods with tremendous implications for anti-aging therapies. Additional benefits include vision enhancement, with assistance for circulatory problems, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, and rheumatic illnesses (such as gout and arthritis).

Strawberry
Strawberries are an excellent source of Vitamin C, Manganese, Dietary Fiber, Iodine, Potassium, Folate, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin K, Riboflavin, Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Magnesium and Copper. Ellagic acid found in Strawberries significantly reduces cancer cells.  Like many other berries, Strawberries contain high amounts of anti-oxidants.  Strawberries inhibit the inflammatory process and reduce the rate of mutation in cells. A serving of Strawberries will provide 200mg of Potassium, which may help regulate electrolytes, lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke. Strawberries have been used for sunburn, discolored teeth, digestion, and gout.

Mangosteen
Exclusive to Mangosteen fruit, Xanthones are unique anti-oxidants with healing properties to help slow aging (reducing physical and mental deterioration), and to ward off degenerative diseases.  According to professional journals, Xanthones have a remarkably beneficial effect on cardiovascular health.  Current research on Xanthones suggests they are beneficial in helping many conditions including: allergies, infections, cholesterol levels, skin disorders, gastro-intestinal disorders and fatigue. They are also naturally antibiotic, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory.

Cranberry
For centuries Native Americans used raw Cranberries as a wound dressing and for digestive problems, blood disorders and Scurvy (Vitamin C deficiency).  High in anti-oxidants, recent studies have shown Cranberries can reduce the ability of E.coli to adhere to the lining of the bladder and urethra, reducing the potential for urinary tract infections. Further studies indicated that Cranberries also prevent another microorganism (Heliobacter pylori) from adhering to cell walls, reducing the potential for stomach ulcers. Studies also suggest that Cranberries may help prevent bacteria from adhering to gums and around teeth.

Blueberry
Believed to lower cholesterol, researchers concluded the most effective medicinal use for Blueberry extract appears to be for improving micro-circulation, which in turn benefits the capillaries serving the heart, and mucous membranes of the digestive and pulmonary systems. Healthier capillaries improve circulation to the connective tissue which may help people who suffer from arthritis, retain water in their legs, suffer from varicose veins, and easily bruise or have hemorrhoids. Blueberries also contain measurable quantities of Ellagic acid, which laboratory studies have proven inhibits chemically induced cancer.

Acai Berry
Rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, proteins and fat, the Acai berry has been called "Nature’s Perfect Food".   The Acai berry contains essential ingredients: Vitamin B1 (Thiamin), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Iron, Potassium, Phosphorus, and Calcium.  Used to help with age-defying beauty, energy, improved vision, stronger heart and better mental clarity, regular use of the Acai berry can also help to lose weight, get rid of toxins and reduce bad cholesterol (while increasing good cholesterol).  The Açaí berry is packed full of anti-oxidants, amino acids, and essential fatty acids.

Pomegranate
Pomegranates have been used to treat various ailments, such as cuts, sore throats, tapeworms, dysentery, and gum disease. Marketed as a major source of anti-oxidant nutrients that protect against heart disease (among other ailments), recent Pomegranate research has focused on its potential treatment for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and various forms of cancer.  Other studies show excellent effect on bone and cartilage and excellent effect in the cosmetic arena, showing stimulation of a type of procollagen synthesis and inhibitor of dermal degeneration processes.

Lycium (Wolfberry)
Acting on the liver, lungs and kidneys, Lycium is believed to enhance immune system function, improve eyesight, protect the liver, boost sperm production and improve circulation (among other effects).  Published studies have also reported its excellent anti-oxidant properties, with potential benefits against cardiovascular, inflammatory and vision-related diseases.   As an anti-cancer and immunomodulatory agent, Lycium is power-packed with essential amino acids, vitamins, and carotenoids.  Lycium fruit has long been praised for well-being and as an anti-aging remedy.

Jujube
According to the National Center for Biotechnology, Jujube juice has been shown to have cytotoxic activity on different tumor lines; largely due to Jujube’s high content of bioactive compounds. Studies have shown bioactive compounds to play an important role in the prevention of chronic diseases. Very high inVitamin C, Jujube fruit is also an anti-oxidant with rejuvenating properties than can help clear up the skin, help to purify blood, and assist as a digestive aid. In the very first textbook of Chinese herbalism, Jujube was recognized for its ability to cleanse the blood of toxins, build stamina and energy, and cleanse the kidneys, liver, heart, and other vital organs.

Noni
For centuries, Noni was used as a high nutrient food staple in Polynesian and other cultures (especially in times of famine). Modern day use of Noni has shown that a majority of users also experience a notable increase in their energy levels. There is scientific proof that Noni can profoundly impact both the severity and chronic nature of various types of pain; whether from chronic backaches or from arthritis in the joints. Researchers also discovered that Noni effectively aids the body in fighting cancerous growths by activating the body’s production of nitric oxide, cytokines, and other agents that actively seek out and destroy cancerous cells. It has been shown that Noni can also modulate immunity functions.

Nopal (Prickly Pear Cactus)
The ability for the Nopal to lower blood sugar by balancing blood sugar levels has been well documented. In traditional Mexican medicine, Nopal is used for treating type-2 Diabetes. Daily consumption of 250mg of Nopal may lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels. HDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels were not affected. For many diabetics or pre-diabetics, Nopal may regulate blood sugar with no negative side effects and no liver damage resulting from prescriptions.  A good source of vitamins and nutrition, Nopal provides essential amino acids in the form of easily-digestible protein, with fiber and pectin that help support the digestive system.  Studies have shown Nopal may also assist in healthy inflammatory responses.

Maqui Berry
Helping the body to fight the signs of aging, the Maqui berry from South America has incredibly high anti-oxidant levels that also aids in weight loss and boosts the immune system to fight disease and infection.  The abilities of this berry are from an extra oxygen molecule that helps to combat cell-destroying free radicals while keeping the effect of aging to a minimum.  In clinical trials, the Maqui berry has been found with the highest ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacities) of any other plant.
